Commissioned paintings take time to complete. I am very focused on quality and attention to detail. With that in mind, building a painting and working on it until it is truly "finished", especially when using Oils, can take anywhere from 2 months, to 6 months. In some cases, it may take longer depending on the canvas size and the subject matter, but in those instances I will discuss the timeline in more detail. I believe it is important for art buyers to have some insight into the process, and the timing considerations that might be involved in their purchase.
